I have been playing the harp since I was seven years old when I could barely reach the strings of the harp!
Over the following ten years I worked my way through the ABRSM graded music exams, achieving a Distinction in both Grade 8 and the ARSM Diploma.
In 2021 I graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a degree in Harp Performance with honours.
I love playing for special events such as weddings, baby showers, hen parties and seeing guests reactions as they recognise their favourite song arranged in a fun, classical style on the harp.
Throughout my career, I have also been fortunate enough to collaborate with composers, ensembles and professional orchestras as well as experiencing opportunities to perform onstage with world renowned harpists and musicians.
Alongside weddings, background music and teaching, I am enjoying experimenting with the harp's range by using a series of pedals, such as loopers, distortion and reverb pedals, to create a rock n' roll style sound with the hopes to record an album using these techniques in the near future.
